Are you interested in murder and mystery? Then you are going to love The Cold Song by Linn Ullmann. When a girl goes missing, everyone goes crazy looking for her. Will they find her? This book tells all kinds of stories that somehow end up connected to the murder. The book pulls you in and makes you want to keep reading. It’s very interesting how everyone tells different parts of the story and how it all comes together in the end.

The Cold Song has lots of detail and descriptions. It’s so good that Ullmann makes you feel like you’re actually there watching everything that happens. You could picture all of the people and where they live. I loved how the characters described every person in the book. A really good scene is when Milla goes to talk to Jon. They talk and then he takes a picture of her – the way the author describes the picture is so beautiful. The way the light makes the girl look…you’ll just have to read it to find out.

This book is good for anyone who likes mysteries, violence, death, and family problems all in one. There is some cursing, but it is tasteful. If you like to read this kind of book, then I recommend you read The Cold Song! The book goes on sale through
Other Press on April 8, 2014 for $15.95 in the United States and $18.95 in Canada.
