splash of red press

Splash of Red Press, founded in 2017 and run by Dylan Emerick-Brown, is an independent publishing house working in partnership with Writers Unlimited. The mission of Splash of Red Press is to provide a unique experience to high school students, giving them the opportunity to publish real, professional literary books that go to market. This internship is currently available to the students of Howl, Deltona High School's acclaimed literary magazine (DeltonaHowl.com). The students do everything from acquisitions, editing, and formatting to cover design and marketing. The profits from the sales of the published books go to the author and Howl.
